In the past 26 of June, Talent Search People received the visit of Rita Sacadura Fonseca, International Career Consultant at Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, one of the world's most prestigious faculties. According to Financial times, the Faculty ranks the top 26 European Business Schools, and its Management and Finance Master’s Degrees are among the best in the world.
In addition, Católica-Lisbon Master’s Programs have a very international atmosphere since half of its 365 annual students are from different parts of the globe (mostly from Portugal, Germany, Italy and Austria) and all the lectures are taught in English. Rita describes Católica-Lisbon’s students as having outstanding professional profiles, with a great combination of interpersonal and hard skills and speaking an average of 3 different languages. The students are mainly employed in Consulting, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Auditing, Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods Sectors and many of the alumni hold CEO Positions or are Executive Board members.
In the last years TSP, based in Spain and Lisbon, has been increasingly involved and interested in international recruitment. TSP International is a business line responsible for recruiting international profiles to work across the European continent. Furthermore, TSP also has a department exclusively dedicated to the recruitment of multilingual profiles to the Spanish market, called Native Speakers department.
The collaboration between TSP and Católica-Lisbon is a win-win situation. On one hand TSP can contribute to the incorporation of the students in foreign multinational companies, on the other hand TSP can publish job offers related to Business and Economics and also search on résumé books to find the best fit for both clients and students. Moreover, due to Talent Search People experience in organizing and participating in Job fairs and events for graduates and undergraduates, it’s expected that in the near future, TSP will be able to participate, on site or remotely, in Católica-Lisbon recruitment events. The events consist of company presentations, preparation for recruitment process, career forums, among others.
We live in a global era where companies need multilingual profiles and candidates willing to work in international environments. Both TSP and Católica-Lisbon have the people, the means and the will to operate globally and to adapt to different contexts. For that reason, we strongly believe that this partnership can only be successful for both parts!
